My numerous visits to Ukraine have allowed me to see the profound changes that have taken place on the battlefield as a result of technological innovations and changes in how they are used, as well as the need to understand and support these changes. It is particularly important to keep abreast of technology, to support these changes, to use them where necessary, but also to respond to the new challenges, both in terms of defense and internal security, that they bring.
