Local Government Forum in Mikołajki, Poland: Energy Saving in Cities
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, I was invited to the Local Government Forum in Mikołajki, Poland, to give a speech on the challenges of energy saving in cities in the current context of rising prices. The debate was attended by selected representatives of European local governments, European energy experts, a representative of a Polish company using geothermal energy, and a Finnish start-up experimenting with a mini nuclear reactor designed to supply heat directly to district heating systems.
